Whispers of Harmony by KP Reynolds

Who We Are

Ollie Bettany is a humanistic counsellor, ecotherapist, teacher and founder of Wild Oak and The Wellspring men's mentoring community in South Devon. He has nearly 15 years of experience as a therapist and men's work facilitator, including specialised training in ecopsychology and nature-based practice and working with couples and groups. He brings his keen understanding of archetypal psychology, shadow work and soul to his work and his partnership with Briony.

Briony Greenhill is a collaborative vocal improvisation teacher who has spent a decade teaching embodiment and connection through music. She has trained extensively in Nonviolent Communication (including with Kelly Bryson), spent years in the Network for a New Culture, completed month-long intensive trainings with the Culture Catalyst Network @ Life Itself and Tamera,  and has deep roots in conscious community and relational practice.

Why We're Teaching This

We met at 42 and 44. This is each of our second marriages. And for both of us, this is our first experience of secure attachment.

Between us, we have decades of direct experience with avoidant, anxious, and disorganized attachment styles. We know what it's like when trauma plays out in attempts to love. The unconsciousness, the unskillfulness, the projection and blame of anxieties we couldn't own. The instability. The years of avoidance. The trying to build relationship, failing, hurting, healing, learning - seeing couples therapists, 1:1 therapy, reading books, doing the work.

The mess of trying to love and failing to sustain partnership over time.

We know the longing: the heart wants to love, the body wants to make love, and the soul wants integration - to make love with the person the heart loves.

After years of that ardent longing, we've finally found our way here. Now, nearly four years in with a young son, we're living the daily reality of Love at Home.

This workshop is born from that journey - and from our commitment to share what we've learned so that drama can become joy, hearts and souls can grow, children can grow up in secure loving regulated homes, and our trauma-fear-violence culture can melt into power-with, regeneration, pleasure and love.

Who This Workshop Is For

  • You're tired of drama consuming the energy that could go toward love

  • The child rearing and domesticity has sapped a lot of the nectar

  • You want to understand your attachment patterns and co-create secure attachment in love

  • You're in a relationship and want to help it flourish

  • You're single and want to prepare yourself for secure partnership - if so, please come with a good friend

  • You've tried to love and it hasn't worked - and you want to understand why

  • You're curious about relational practices that help love flourish

All sexual orientations, gender expressions, and relationship structures welcome - whether you're straight, gay, monogamous, polyamorous, or exploring. This isn't about pushing any particular model; it's about building security within whatever form your love takes.

This is for folks who are in relationship with one another; if you’re single, please come with a trusted friend who is also interested in learning tools to help love flourish; you will work on your friendship!

Who This Is NOT For

This one-day workshop may not be for you if your relationship is at a major crisis point. This is because the group format may not provide sufficient safety and holding for you and your partner to get something positive out of the day. If in doubt, please get in touch.

What You'll Take Away

  • Core practices you can use immediately in your relationship(s)

  • Greater understanding of your own attachment patterns

  • Simple tools for honest, safe communication

  • Embodied practices for connection

  • A taste of what's possible when we bring consciousness to partnership

If there is sufficient interest, we will be running a longer programme in the future that allows for deeper exploration and integration of these practices.
