Practice Notes
Prepare your 30-day scale ritual and do it daily (select which scales you’ll do, decide how long each day [is there a particular time of day you’ll do it?] and get going!

  1. Ear training intervals practice using your app very regularly - little bits throughout your days

  2. Use the youtube video from the lesson to practice other bits you want to, e.g the study

  3. Free sing with your focus on melody. Set the timer for x minutes to create a container for yourself.

Practice Video:

Class 2 - Monday 17th January

Suggested app - Aural Wizz for beginners and Perfect Ear for int/adv, to learn your intervals, starting with the major 2nd and perfect 5th (if you're ready for more, you can add Major second > perfect 5th > octave > major 3rd > Major 6th > Perfect 4th > major 7th) - but I'm not expecting you to learn all of these in the first week!

Here are some other audio resources to support you in sitting Resonant Body practice.

Here is the folder of bass drones - find one in your Sa. They're only 7 mins long I'm afraid. You can also look around for other drones in your Sa on e.g. Youtube or Spotify.

I recommend practising for 10 mins a day, 5 days a week, during this course, starting with this Sa practice.
