David Eskenazy is teaching rhythm for Level 2. He was my teacher and remains my friend and who knows, now I’m back in Europe, maybe a collaborator.
He’s an incredible teacher; a jazz multi-instrumentalist who, as a young man, was captivated with what Bobby McFerrin was doing with voice and jazz, and, like me, dove into that world, and became a leader and teacher of it.
He is an advanced user and teacher of the marvelous mechanics of music and holds singers to a high standard of possibility, training our agility and sophistication to the same degree as an instrumentalist.
David is also a composer. He is fluent in English. Phew.
